No many people. Breakfast was buffet with good options.

The spa was closed at 6.00 pm and did not open on SUN. Far from restaurants or tourist places.

- far from the city center, access by private car only - very noisy in the morning that wake me up early - a bit pricy during the long holiday

It has a private beach.

The beach is steep down and when the tide rises the sand disappear. So the beach is only accessible for certain time.

We booked this resort as it was the most expensive hotel in the area with very nice pictures. The resort is next to the sea, so the view was nice. The pool was okay and clean except the the outside showers which had vines growing and touching your hair and body. The rooms were the highlight with spacious inside and a sofa/minibed near the window. The breakfast was good. The resort itself was big and clean.

The name included "spa" which only included an ability to book a thai massage for 640 baht ($21). Even the fitness was closed. No beach bar or cocktails. Kids playground was small. Food from the restaurant was cold and boring. Coffee was bad. We expected to be able to swim in the sea and take a shower after as it was so close to the sea. But we could not swim in the sea at the resort as there is not a wave breaker near this hotel so the waves were too strong and the beach at the hotel had rocks. The resort is 1.5 km away from the beach which has good restaurants and a wave breaker and a sandy swimmable beach. But there are no showers at the nearby beach. You really need a car to enjoy this resort at all. There is just nothing to do at the hotel except sleep and take a nap or swim in the pool during the day. There's nowhere to hang out in the evening at a walking distance. Overall the unsatisfaction mostly just comes to price. The resort was way overpriced for what we thought we are getting based on the price. We would have enjoyed our stay much more if we had taken any hotel at the actual beach. That way we would not have had to rely on our car and the lack of facilities at the resort would not have bothered as much.

Massage

The location is very nice... reviews saying they don’t speak any English are not correct - they do, perfectly well to get by. It’s very chilled there.. relaxing. There is a bit of a beach - Tiny - but there and you can’t swim in the sea (unlike some reviews) - they also seem to be doing pool towels now..

I thought it was a little expensive for the quality of the place (I stayed in a suite in a 5* hotel in Bangkok for less money) - it’s a bit run down and tired. Stayed in a deluxe room, which are down the sides of the property - we were luckily placed in the furthest away from the main hotel - closest to the sea view, however if you were any further back - you don’t really have a sea view exactly - but it’s right there where you walk out, and very nice... there are 4.5 pairs of sun beds - so if you get many people wanting the sun there - you’d have a problem with getting a bed - however we didn’t... it was very quiet generally...

Swimming pool is compact and nice, direct to the beach, quite windy. Breakfast has many and good choices. There are many local seafood restaurants near by and right price.

Fitness room has just 2 devices and room is too small. Beach is not for swim.

Pool / food / cleanliness

No one spoke English Wi if does not work in the rooms ( despite being told it did )

Been to this property before many many times. Like the privacy. Food is good.

I could go on for hours about whats wrong now. 1. The names of the rooms are purposely misleading. Having rented the standalone villa on the ACTUAL beachfront before, this is what i wanted. Normal price is around 4k baht+. When I booked the room online i saw only 2 options: A "deluxe sea view", and an "ocean view villa". I booked the "ocean view villa", as there was no other higher option listed and this was 4k+ baht as usual. The room the took me to didn't even have a view of the ocean, and wasn't a "villa". It was a town-house type unit. This is a classic bait and switch technique. Make you think your getting one thing based on description and knowing your 100's of kilometers from Bangkok... have no other option but to accept it. I asked at the counter... "This isn't the room i booked". I booked an ocean view villa." They replied... "No, thats the Beach-front villa" I mentioned "The website had no mention of a higher option and the word "villa" is misleading". Turns out all was full and i paid 8k+ baht for 2 night in a room with no ocean view. 2. When i got to my room, there was already people in there... bags and all. I dont know who let them in, but they were standing there looking at me and asking if I was lost. I showed them my key # and they were in fact in the wrong room, but their key didnt work in the door. How did their bags actually get in the room then?? Someone from the staff must have taken them to the wrong room and put their bags in there. 3. Wanted to swim in the pool around 7pm. I called to the reception and asked what time the pool closed, and he replied back to me "8 pm, but you actually want to swim?". I told him yes but its dark. Instead of replying that he would open it I got 10 seconds of "ummm, uh, ummmm". 4. The beach used to be beautiful.

Very limited facilities: small pool, only few sunbeds and no pool towels offered. Breakfast buffet more adapted to Asian than Western taste.

My room is in very bad location, there is a building block the view. I can see just the building in front of me. I think i will consider other property for the next time.
